Evan's Story
Tracey St.Clair-Shaner
Evan was my little boy. He's forever 9. He liked to spread kindness and joy wherever he went and was known for his infectious smile and manners. On June 25, 2017, he died tragically in a fire at his Dad's home.
I know that Evan would want me to try and save other boys and girls with additional fire safety information and provide a gathering where others pay it forward like he did everyday. That's why Evan's Eleven was created. My son and I lived by rules on how to treat others. I wanted that legacy of kindness to continue. I also wanted to be able to donate to organizations that make a difference in our communities. Evan would want everyone to be fire safety aware not just today but everyday. Not a day goes by that I don't miss that smile and laughter and I want to share those amazing memories with all of you. Evan would want it that way.
Love,
Evan's Mom
